Fourth of July

Every year for the fourth of July we go to Richfield where my grandparents live. It’s a small town in central Utah. I got this Cowgirl hat just for the event.

We kicked off the celebration with the kids parade done the night before, in this case two nights before since the fourth was on Sunday.

After the kids parade we went to Wingers for dinner

After going to church with my grandparents we headed up to Fish Lake

We had lots of fun with the camera

The infamous Ostler look

My parents cabin

Stephan and I kicked off the morning of the Fourth(the fifth) by running a 5k. After two years of taking 2nd I finally took first for the women :) I ran back to the hotel to get dressed before the awards since I wouldn’t have time after.

Siena didn’t like the sirens

Barrett caught this hat

One of my favorite things about the fourth in Richfield is the Fish grab. They unload a bunch of trout in this pool thing and the kids all grab them with their hands.

Both my boys got a fish, I couldn’t be prouuder

Walmart run

The ideal dairy

Ragnar 2011

This was my first time doing a relay race, and I loved it!!!

Me right after my first run, I had 23 kills!!

Getting ready for our night run

The other van arrives

I don’t know if you can tell that I feel like I might die in this picture. The hardest thing was eating and sleeping enough! The running was the easy part.

Stephan’s Half Birthday

For those of you who don’t know, Stephan’s birthday is on Christmas, so we celebrate it on June 25th his half birthday.

Once you have kids you don’t get to open your own presents anymore

We had some family over for a BBQ to celebrate with us

Our Yard

So I’m not really a yard person. Don’t get me wrong, I like it to look nice, I just don’t LOVE doing yard work like some people. This year I decided to plant some flowers and I must say I might just become a yard person :) \

More from the end of school

Park City (Olympic Park)

This day could not have been more gorgeous!!

This is my first time to Olympic park, yes I know I’m a little late!

Cheryl and Me

The kids in a bobsled, trying to get a picture of them all in it was actually a challenge.

Playing some of the games at the museum

Love this girl so much!!

Ice cream after

Austin was spending the day with his Grandma, that’s why he’s not with us. We sure missed him.

San Francisco

Stephan had a work conference in San Francisco, and I was lucky enough to get to tag along for a few days.

Loved walking to the Warf

Picking up his packet

Hanging at the hotel

Out to dinner, I am the only girl

Saying good-bye, he is staying a couple more days

Me traveling by myself, this is the first time I’ve ever traveled alone and I’m pretty proud of myself. I made it to and from Oakland on public transportation!

End of Soccer

Swimming Lessons

I’m not going to lie, these lessons were intense, I even had to leave a couple of times. But I am now confident that my kids are safe in the water. Even Siena can get to her back, make it to the side of the pool, and get out all by herself!

Elder David Ostler

My youngest brother just left on his mission to Tulsa Oklahoma. I sure miss him!!
